Founder and President
The owner, Valerie Lynn Cullu, founded the firm Valyn Accounting & Trustee Services, LLC in 2017.
Valerie has over 20 years of experience in public accounting, which includes providing services in accounting, management, tax filing and financial consulting. Her primary focus is on families and small businesses. Her family practices include individual finances, tax returns and planning. Her focus on small businesses is from start-up companies to those that have been in business for generations. She handles their payroll, their bookkeeping with QuickBooks, using generally acceptable accounting principles. In addition, she works with other large accounting firms and non-profit organizations to meet their tax filing deadlines and other reporting requirements. Most of her business comes from very happy clients who refer their friends and business associates to her. She also has a network of other CPA’s that use her services.
Valerie has received her Bachelor of General Studies with a concentration in business from the University of South Florida. Her Enrolled Agent (E.A.) license with the Internal Revenue Service and her Certified Estate and Trust Specialist Certification (C.E.S.) with the Institute of Business & Finance. These give her the training and education needed to perform the required tasks of her profession.
As a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents and the Florida Society of Enrolled Agents she stays current on all continuing education requirements and is current on new laws and tactical accounting opportunities. Giving back to her community, she is an active member of the Rotary Club of Tarpon Springs, Inc., and enjoys the opportunity to serve others. She is married and has four children. Her husband of 18 years, Dan, is a financial advisor and shares many business ideas, economic conditions and market relative information with Valerie. She also has two adult children and two in high school. Family is a high priority for Valerie as are her values and morals. Valerie loves her work and the clients she works with and looks forward to challenging opportunities.
